Rehabilitation Services
Aiken Rehab offers short-term therapy programs to help each patient reach and maintain their optimal level of health. Our in-house therapy team works together to provide an interdisciplinary approach to managing post-procedural rehabilitation and common age-related illnesses, while preventing unnecessary hospital readmissions.

PHYSICAL THERAPY
Our physical therapists provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain in patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases. PTs utilize clinical programs, including strength and balance training, fall prevention, and ambulation training to restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health. Innovative modalities such as shortwave diathermy, vital stim and e-stim are utilized to optimize participation in therapy.
SPEECH THERAPY
Our speech and language pathologists treat patients with communication problems, memory loss, disorientation, cognitive deficits, and swallowing dysfunctions. SLPs utilize treatment plans that focus on oral muscle strength for speech, safe eating, drinking, and areas affecting swallowing and cognition.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Our occupational therapists treat patients who are injured, ill or disabled through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. OTs help patients develop, recover and improve the skills needed for daily living and working through compensatory and adaptive strategies to achieve the patient's highest level of independence.
Skilled Nursing & Transitional Care Services
